Please read the following terms and conditions for Connect + Empower 11.11.23.

In consideration of my participation in the above-mentioned Connect + Empower event (the "Event"), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk:
   I understand that participating in the Event may involve discussions, activities, or emotional discussions related to menopause, its symptoms, and its impact on individuals' lives. I am aware that these activities may evoke strong emotions or personal stories that could be emotionally challenging. I voluntarily choose to participate in the Event with full knowledge of these potential emotional and physical aspects. 
2. Health and Medical Conditions:
   I certify that I am in good health and have no known medical conditions that would prevent me from participating safely in the Event. If I have any underlying health concerns or conditions, I will notify the event organisers in advance and consult with my healthcare provider regarding my participation. This is relevant for the Event experience through gentle guided breathwork the participants may be encouraged to choose to complete.
   
3. Personal Responsibility:
   I acknowledge that my participation in the Event is entirely voluntary. I am responsible for my own actions and well-being during the Event. I agree to follow all safety guidelines, instructions, and recommendations provided by the event organisers and facilitators.
   
4. Confidentiality:
   I understand that during the Event, participants may share personal experiences and stories related to menopause. I agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants and refrain from sharing or discussing their personal information or stories outside of the Event if I am asked to keep this private and confidential.
   
5. Release and Waiver of Liability:
   I release the event organisers, facilitators, and any associated entities or individuals from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of my participation in the Event. This includes, but is not limited to, physical injury, emotional distress, or any other harm that may arise.
   
6. Photography and Recording:
   I consent to the use of photographs, audio recordings, or video recordings of the Event that may include my image, voice, or likeness. These materials may be used for promotional or educational purposes.
   
7. Emergency Medical Treatment:
   In the event of a medical emergency, I authorise event organisers and facilitators to seek and provide emergency medical treatment as deemed necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any associated medical expenses and these cannot be covered by the Event organisers.
   
8. Agreement to Terms:
   I have read this Menopause Event Waiver and fully understand its terms and conditions.
   By attending the Event I am accepting these terms and conditions.
